I just switched from Dreamhost to atarack and I love the virtual private server idea so far. Unfortunately during the move I did an “rm -rf” in the wrong directory and lost my original website. Fortunately the pictures are all saved and I managed to recover the content of the posts so I will repost them here, and the upside is it gave me a chance to switch from Movable Type to Wordpress! I’m liking it so far. Lesson learned though, don’t do any server admin work at 5am.
